Lisa Galbraith, General Manager
As we hurtle towards the end of the year with fewer and
fewer days left to complete the ever growing to do list, I always like to take
a moment and reflect on the year. What
have we accomplished, what worked well and what are we looking forward to in
2012?
For Cleardocs, the year has certainly passed in a flash and
our plans for 2012 are exciting.
New products
During the year we expanded our employment and HR offering
with the release of the independent contract actor agreement and standard
employment contract – both which complement the HR Policies and Procedures
manual launched in 2010. In 2012, we
plan to expand this offering further.
More recently we released a change of trustee for the
Discretionary Trust and will very soon have a change of trustee for the Unit Trust. We felt that both of these products are
useful for our long term customers who have Cleardocs trust deeds.
In 2011, we also released, for our professional customers,
some simple checklists (ABN and TFN application) and pre completed bank
application forms (for Macquarie Bank). Both products are designed to
streamline work activities. If there are
any standard forms you would like us to include with your Cleardocs packages,
please let us know.
You can also now register your trademark application through
Cleardocs.
Sale
In July, Cleardocs moved from a privately held company to
Thomson Reuters. The whole team is now happily
resident inside Thomson Reuters and looking at additional services we can offer
both the Cleardocs and Thomson Reuters customers. Regular readers of our monthly newsletter ClearLaw
may have noticed the additional articles written by Thomson Reuters’
journalists. The Cleardocs team worked
hard to ensure that the changes for us did not impact service delivery to you. So I hope the change has been seamless for
you.
Christmas break
Over the Christmas break, the Cleardocs helpline will be
open. So please call if you have any questions as you process the documents
for those last companies, SMSF and
trusts for 2011.
Have a restful break and we look forward to welcoming you
back in 2012.
